Something scenic Caring and Comfort, LLC is an approved provider of wigs for Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) for cancer and alopecia patients requesting wigs through Minnesota's Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • MHCP requires pre-authorization for an Extra-cranial Prosthesis (a wig) for cancer and alopecia patients.

Yes, we can! Wearing a wig made with ones own hair, or hair provide by someone who cares, is very special and satisfying.

Check it out! An increasing number of health care providers will help pay for your wig. Find out before you buy.

We Buy Hair
We will pay for ponytails of quality hair that is at least 12 inches long. (Usually $25-$50) We need to inspect the hair first to be sure it is usable for a wig. We can mail it back if it is not selected.

We also take donations of hair.
